making baby diaper cakes
i am making diaper cakes?
i live in a very small town and there is not much here you can buy for babies. i was planning on selling them from my house. i am not very intrested in making a web page but i was thinking about putting up flyers. i am looking for some advice on wether it is a good idea and how i shout go about it
there is also a really big babyboom in town
It has been my experience that baby items sell quickly by word of mouth. Do you have any friends that are expecting and are going to have a baby shower? Better yet, an acquaintance, her circle of friends would be different than yours. You can offer one cake free if you are allowed to hand out business cards and/or flyers at the baby shower.
Word of mouth advertising lets you slowly build up your business without overwhelming yourself. And, with low overhead costs.
Ask around and see what your neighbors and friends think.
