what should I do for party favors for my baby shower?
I need help with doing party favors, my theme is “Sugar and Spice and everything nice”. My baby shower is on December 13th…the colors that are in the theme are pink and brown. I need some ideas for party favors for my guest, and my closest friends that are doing the shower for me.
I was thinking of lotions and candles that are sweet and spicy?
Can I please get more suggestions?

Most party goers, even adults, realize that party favors are just a fun thing to do. They shouldn’t cost you too much and shouldn’t be that big of a deal. Really, it’s just something for the attendee to go away with and decide whether they want to keep or not.
The basics could be:
Little bottles of bubbles (like those you’d get at a wedding)
notepads or sticky notes in browns and pinks
pens or pencils in brown and pink (the more expensive ones, like Sharpie pens)
To go more with your sugar and spice theme you could get:
small shakers of dessert sprinkles in browns and pinks
lotions that have a baked goods scent
candles that have a baked goods scent
If you can’t find small bottles of lotions in the scent you like or need, buy empty travel lotion bottles and fill them with the lotion you like and then place some sort of label on them stating that it’s from your baby shower. Just a basic piece of paper with a design and good handwriting glued to the bottle will work great.
You can buy votive candles at The Dollar Tree and they usually come in vanilla or possibly cinnamon scents.
If you really want to do something for those who are throwing you the party, that needs to be done separately from the party itself. A thank you card or note should, really, be enough, but if you really want to buy them something to say “Thank You”, buy each of them something simple that will go with your theme and will also be a good gift for them. An actual set of the lotions (like the kind you buy at bath & Body Works) that you put in the small bottles or a more expensive version of the scented candles with all the different sizes and jars.
